Where is your...? and Down on the Farm

Cooper is busy learning new things every day! He's learned a lot of body parts over the last month, and we caught a few on video tape. His first and favorite is his tummy - he doesn't do this in the video, but sometimes when we ask him where his tummy is, he lifts his shirt up and starts pinching his belly and giggling. We love how he rocks the buddha!

Cooper also LOVES animals. The first thing he does every morning when he wakes up, and after each nap is start "kissing" for Cody to come and see him. He loves birds and cats and horses, and every iPhone game there is that has to do with animals (peek a boo barn, peek a boo forest, peek a boo wild, fish school, etc. etc.). How people kept kids entertained on planes and in restaurants before iPhones, I have no idea.

Our personal favorite is the chicken, which he really got going with during our Christmas in Hawaii. He got the wings down after seeing a rooster in the grocery store parking lot our first day of the trip, which sealed the deal. One of the funnier things I've seen in a long time was watching about 12 grown ups at our family dinners in Hawaii clucking and waving their arms like chickens to get Cooper to do it!

Here are some of his animal sounds. We also included his "Santa" sound, which he now says every time a man with a gray-ish or white beard is around...it's is hilarious, but definitely has the potential to be embarassing if some poor guy sees a toddler pointing at him and saying "ho-ho-ho":

We can't wait to take him to the real zoo sometime soon!!

  1. Hey Julia, That is so cute! He's got so many down. Parker just learned where his belly button is - he lifts his shirt to show us. And he was just learning the chicken sound this weekend, so I know the feeling of a bunch of adults making chicken wings and chicken sounds while a toddler stares at them wondering what in the heck they are doing :)
Have a good week! See you soon,
    Angela
